what significance does this have? the earth being in the same spot it was in last time this thing happened is at least untrue (the solar system moves. also the sun rotates and this rotation is not considered in the length of a year so the position is not even consistent RELATIVE TO THE SUN) if not also just an insane thing to tie significance to.
"but i want to celebrate that a thing happened!" why? like the thing already happened and it is over with and it has been for at least one calendar year. why are you repeatedly celebrating that a thing happened at an arbitrary interval. this is insane.
it makes sense to celebrate a thing happening. i'm not saying you can't be excited about the thing happening. but why are you trying to intentionally spark excitement about the thing happening at recurring arbitrary times
